The Cippolinies were fantastic this year. We never eat these raw in salads, etc. They turn into a magical food when cooked with butter or olive oil. We use them when we roast meats or caramelize them with butter and put on a veggie pizza--just fantastic. Something wonderful happens to these darling little onions when they are cooked--they taste like sugar has been added to the pan. Chalsell, MI

I live in Eastern MA and my cippolinis grew very large, they looked like alien onions they were so big--and, they grew big early. I was going to pickle some but they were too big. All my onions from you folks grew large and bountifully, we got bushels for the food bank.

these are super when small for kabobs and general grilling. not as nice when more mature. Will grow again and try the red marbled also. Windover Farm-Pennsylvania

Cippolini grew well for us on its first try in our field. Ready for harvest 2 weeks earlier that other larger varieties.

We live in the Shenandoah Valley, zone 6b. I had a pleasing variety size of onions at harvest in Mid July. I canned 5 pints of beautiful little balsamic marinated cippolinis and had about another 6-7 pounds of the larger ones to enjoy. The size ranged from flat golf ball to flat tennis ball. Currently at 4 months after harvest, I still have a few in my cool basement that are keeping very nicely. Harrisonburg, Va
