- They call them Super Star for a reason.

Where we had manure in the beds, our Super Stars outperformed every other variety last year, with many of them over one pound each. They survived the cold snap in January (5 degrees) and came on strong later. It's now our favorite for production and they are great eating.

This was the sweetest onion in the garden last year! No problems in my Salt Lake, UT garden. Also kept the best over-all, very solid keeper into January (hung in net), a few started sprouting by Feb -- cooked the last one just a week ago. Love this onion.

Some bugs ate the superstar onions only, as all the other onions around them did fine. They were unusable. This was in Seattle.
- Definitely a Star!

I've grown this one for four years now and it has always produced well. I harvest in June/July and I still have good onions in the pantry now in January. Some are starting to sprout so I just take the greens and compost the rest.KINGMAN, ARIZONA
