The dark red color goes deep into the rings. Can be planted 2 inches apart for a very flat Italian cippolini shape, or closer for smaller red pearl onions. Great for unique offering at farmers' markets. Can be planted in intermediate or long day areas.

These onions are very pretty and the perfect size. They went fairly well at market. The red color runs very deep into the rings. I liked these for the most part but because of a terrible growing season for onions last year a lot of these turned out pretty hot. I'm trying them again this year and am hoping for a lot better season. Pleasant View Colorado
