1015Y Texas Super Sweet

The Onionman thinks the 15th of October should be a Texas Holiday! The 1015Y got its name from the date that we are supposed to plant the seed (15th of October) and Y for yellow. Seed crop was wiped out last year but we bought all that was available so you can be assured that the 1015s from Dixondale are the true 1015s. This is the most widely adaptable short day onion since it will grow from Mexico to Ohio. The bigger it gets, the sweeter it is, but it can store for at least two months if cured properly. Open pollinated, stores approximately two months, matures in 110 days, globe-shaped, yellow.
